CERCARMU, the Cameroonian Students’ Association at the Regional Maritime University (RMU), is more than just a student organization—we are a family bound by culture, friendship, and mutual support. Our association is dedicated to uniting Cameroonian students, helping them succeed academically, socially, and personally, and fostering a strong sense of community within RMU and beyond.

At CERCARMU, we believe in supporting each other’s dreams, celebrating our achievements, and standing together during challenges. We are the bridge that connects new and old students, helping them feel at home and thrive in their academic journey.

Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure that every Cameroonian student at RMU feels welcomed, guided, and protected. From assisting with the challenges of adjusting to life in Accra to providing academic support, CERCARMU is committed to empowering students to achieve excellence in their studies and personal growth.

But our work doesn’t end at the gates of RMU. We also extend a helping hand to visitors from Cameroon and other countries, guiding them through the vibrant but sometimes confusing streets of Accra. Our members serve as advisors, travel companions, and trusted friends, ensuring that visitors experience the best of the city while staying safe.
